Cecile took a moment to watch him groan as he worked through Ruin’s writing, then turned to see what Estian was writing and could not help being surprised. She asked, “Why is there so much?”

Cecile had expected herself to write the most since the matter was about her, yet Estian had written several times more than her. Upon having a read, she found that he had recorded down in great detail about the things he had ordered to investigate.

“How do you remember all this?”

“Wouldn’t it be stranger not to remember when it’s about you?”

Cecile’s face turned rosy at that as she planted a kiss on her husband’s cheek. Richard side-eyed the two of them acting even more lovey-dovey than before as he put the finishing touch on his work.

“All done. Come on and have a read, everyone.”

Just then, Ruin unabashedly made a demand of the mage lord. “You’ve got to translate Empyrean to Hyun too.”

“Are you nuts? I’ll just read it out loud so listen up!”

Cecile had a look at what Richard had written. “The manipulation of water is the power of witches... Most likely has a relation to them. The missing Princess Yuliana also used the same power?”

Estian’s shoulder twitched slightly at the mention of Yuliana as he was looking at what Ruin had written by the side.

“Wait... Then does that mean I’m a witch?” Cecile asked.

Richard shook his head and answered, “No. You’re probably not just a witch. Considering how you completely got rid of Yuliana’s power, you must be an overwhelmingly more powerful witch than that woman.”

“A powerful witch?”

“The witches are strictly ranked, with the Archwitch at the very top, and three guardian witches below her. Below them, the ranks are divided again, but as far as I know, all the witches disappeared during the Dark Ages. I’d say that the only ones remaining are the Archwitch, her guardians, and a few very witches?”

“Then what do I count as?” Cecile asked.

Richard just looked at her. “Have you ever considered that we’re having this trouble because we don’t know that?”

After some quipping, everyone was about to begin discussing the information gathered on paper. But suddenly, the space above the table began to distort. The four stepped back, wondering what was going on when a green figure appeared out of the distortion as if spat out.

Landing on the table, the green figure looked around, swiveling its head before yelling, “Emperor! Empress! Mage! And Guy I Don’t Know! Have I come back to the right place?”

…It was Aled.

Just as everyone sighed and was about to tell the spirit to get out of the way because they were busy right now, it began talking again. “Hey! I just heard from the World Tree, and the world we’re living in now is apparently the last one of countless many worlds! And Empress, you’re the daughter of the Archwitch and supposedly you lived in those worlds as different people. And I was told that you, Emperor, destroyed all those worlds! And apparently, you’re
